South Asian Conference Capacity Building of Marginalized Women: Widow

On Wednesday 27, 2002 GriefandRenewal.Com hosted Dr. V. Mohini Giri in Kennebunk, where she gave a talk on marginalized women, widows, and peace to a full house. Many were deeply inspired by her talk which will be broadcast on Maine Public Radio's show "Speaking in Maine" on Friday, May 17, 2002 at 1:00PM. Dr. Giri shared the events of her most recent confernence with her audience in Kennebunk and GriefandRenewal.Com.

In February 2002 Dr. Giri and The Guild of Service organized a three day conference: "Capacity Building of Marginalized Women: Widows" in New Delhi. This conference led to the creation of the Delhi Declaration. GriefandRenewal.Com is pleased to present the Report of the Conference in several installments with permission of Dr. Giri.
