9-11-02
On the anniversary of 9-11, Grief and Renewal.com continues to send its
deepest sadness and sympathy to all those who have lost a loved one in the
attacks on the United States on 9-11-2001, and to all who continue to mourn
for our country. After a year of grief many will have found ways to return
to their "normal" lives, but for many life will never be the same again.
Mourning does not magically end after one year, and there will be many
challenges ahead. We join the country in remembering this terrible moment in
our history and in the lives of so many as the work of grief and renewal
continues.
At this time we have posted a list of groups providing names of qualified mental health professionals. The American Red Cross now has funding for mental health treatment for those who were impacted by 9-11. We have links to professional groups and sites providing information on how to handle different aspects of traumatic stress, how to talk with our children about traumatic events, and other relevant topics.
Griefandrenewal.com reaches out to all in the effort of restoring hope and rebuilding life. Please let us know how we can best serve your needs. We can be reached via e-mail at info@griefandrenewal.com.
